My best recomendation is to just jump on your bike and start riding. Look at lists to pack, find somebody to help you bring in food and water, and then just do it. I made the trip last year, at over 2,500 miles, from NC. Best decision I ever made in my life. So yes, it will be worth it. Hey Johnny.
